NRI Marriage Investigation — Verify a Groom or Bride Living Abroad
An overseas match is often presented with less detail than a local one, and checked less, because nobody nearby can check it. We verify the person where they actually live and the family where it actually is.
Why an NRI match needs its own check
India's Ministry of External Affairs advises families to verify an overseas groom's marital status, job, immigration status, finances and family before a marriage — through people in India and abroad. Most families can manage the India part. The overseas part is usually a phone call to someone who knows someone.
That gap is where the serious problems sit: a groom described as a permanent resident who is on a temporary visa, a job title that is really a different job, a divorce abroad that nobody in India heard about, or an earlier marriage that was never ended. Questions raised in Parliament have pointed out that there is no official mechanism for finding out the actual marital status of Indians living abroad. This service exists to close that gap.

Scoping call
We go through the biodata and what you have been told, and agree which claims matter most and in which countries they must be checked.
Documents you already have
Passport, visa or residence-card copies, offer letters or payslips the family has shared. We tell you what each one does and does not prove.
Overseas verification
Our investigators in the country concerned check employment, residence and public records, lawfully and without approaching the person.
India verification
In parallel, our team in India checks the family, marital history, education and property.
Combined report
One report covering both countries, with each claim marked verified, contradicted, partly established or not obtainable.
What it costs and how long it takes
India-side checks are priced as pre-matrimonial verification involving an NRI: ₹35,000 – ₹80,000. Work in the country where the person lives is quoted after scoping, because it depends on the country, the city and what needs checking.
Your written quote is fixed after a free scoping call, and it will not change based on what we find. If the budget available does not match what the case genuinely requires, we will tell you that rather than running an underscoped enquiry that cannot answer your question.

Questions about nri marriage investigation
The United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia, and the Gulf — the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain — through our investigators there, always within local law. The India side is checked in every case.
No private investigator can access immigration records in any country. What we can do is check whether the status described fits the documents shown and the person's actual circumstances — job, address, how long they have lived there — and flag where it does not.
Profiles on matrimonial sites are largely self-declared. We treat them like any biodata: each claim is a starting point to check, beginning with the ones the decision depends on.
Yes. The same checks apply, often more urgently. The National Commission for Women runs an NRI Cell for women deserted by NRI husbands, and Indian missions abroad can assist through the Ministry of External Affairs. Our findings — where he is, his job and his circumstances — are often what a complaint or a lawyer needs.
