Overseas clients
Private investigator in India for clients overseas
Around one in eight of our enquiries now comes from outside India. The pattern is consistent: the decision is being made abroad, and the facts that would settle it are here. We do the work in India, schedule calls around your time zone, and report in writing for someone who cannot visit.

Is it legal to hire a private investigator in India?
Yes. Private investigation is lawful in India, and anyone, anywhere, can commission it. For a client abroad the real risk is not the law but who you hire: a website and a phone number can be set up in a weekend, and from overseas you cannot drop in to see whether there is a firm behind them.
What an investigator can lawfully do is substantial: public and court records, company and land records, field visits, discreet local enquiry, observation in public places, and checks made with a person's consent. What no investigator in India can lawfully get you is call records, bank statements, tax returns or Aadhaar data, or access to anyone's phone or accounts. The Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 both apply, and detectives in India have been prosecuted for buying call records. Evidence obtained that way is unusable, and the exposure is yours as well as theirs.
How to choose an agency from abroad
- A video call with the investigator who will run your case
- A real office address you can check on Google Maps
- A written scope and fixed price before you pay anything
- Payment to a firm's bank account — never a person or a relative
- A report that shows how each finding was established
- A plain refusal to obtain phone or bank records
Why distance is the problem, not the question
In India, a good deal of informal verification happens without anybody calling it that. A cousin knows the neighbourhood. A colleague knows the employer. An aunt remembers the family's history. When you emigrate, all of that disappears at once — and what reaches you instead is a single account, usually from someone with a view on the outcome.
An overseas connection is also perceived as high value in Indian matrimonial negotiation, which reliably attracts overstatement. The most common finding in our NRI matrimonial work is not fraud. It is material overstatement: a designation inflated, a salary roughly doubled, a jointly held family property described as personally owned. None of it is necessarily disqualifying — but it is far better known before the engagement than after the marriage.
What overseas clients ask us to establish
- Whether a marriage proposal's claims hold up on checking
- Whether a property is held, and possessed, as described
- Whether a relative or contact who has gone quiet can be located
- Whether an Indian supplier, agent or partner is what they claim
- Whether an elderly parent's care is actually being delivered
- Whether an education agent, college or job offer in India is genuine

How a case runs from abroad
You send a window
Message on WhatsApp with your country and a time that works where you are. We call inside it. There is no expectation that you stay up for Indian business hours.
Free scoping call
Fifteen to twenty minutes. We establish what you actually need verified, and tell you honestly which parts can be established from India and which cannot.
Written scope and quote
By email, in INR with an indicative equivalent, so you can consider it properly rather than deciding on a call.
Payment by bank transfer
International transfer to the firm's account. We never ask overseas clients to route payment through personal accounts, relatives or informal channels — treat any agency that does as a warning.
Fieldwork in India
Run to the agreed scope by our own team in Rajasthan or by our own investigators in the city concerned. Updates at the interval you chose, written so they make sense without a call.
Report, then a review call
The written report first so you can read it properly, then a scheduled call to go through what it does and does not establish.

From anywhere else
Clients also reach us from Singapore, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland and Hong Kong. The India side runs exactly the same from any country; only the call times change. If your case needs work in your own country, we tell you at the scoping call whether we can do it there.
FAQs
Questions from overseas clients
Yes. Private investigation is lawful in India and anyone, anywhere, can commission it. What matters is the agency itself: a real address, a video call with the investigator, a written scope and payment to a firm's account.
Yes. The listed countries are simply where most of our overseas enquiries come from. The work happens in India regardless of where you are, so your location affects only call scheduling and reporting.
Yes. Our investigators work in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia, and across the Gulf — the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. They carry out pre-matrimonial, post-matrimonial and background enquiries, address and employment verification and discreet local enquiry, always within local law. Where a case also has an India side, our team in Jaipur works it in parallel and you receive one combined report.
Ask for a video call and speak to the investigator directly, not a coordinator. Check our Google Business Profile, which is tied to a real Jaipur address and carries 35 reviews at 5.0. Ask for the written scope and fixed price before paying anything. Any agency that will not do those three things is one to avoid.
Not from us. We never contact your family, never identify you as a client, and structure every enquiry so that no single conversation reveals who is asking or why. If there is a particular person you are concerned about, tell us at the start and we will plan around them.
Yes, and it is one of the main reasons clients come to us. With our investigators abroad and our own team in India, a single case can cover both — verifying an NRI groom's job and address overseas while simultaneously checking his family, property and marital history in India. You receive one combined report and deal with one person throughout.
Send a window and we will call you in it
Message on WhatsApp with your country and a convenient time. The first conversation is free and will tell you whether the question is answerable.
